Chemex filters are 20-30% heavier than competitive brands. They remove even the finest sediment particles, as well as undesirable oils and fats.

The formulation of the filters permits the proper infusion by regulating the filtration rate - not too slow, not too fast.

Good infusion of the coffee grounds gives coffee a richer flavor while at the same time making possible precise fractional extraction.

Ethiopian Coffee is my go to

I always tend to lean towards Ethiopian coffees. This one is brilliant with a fruit forward taste.

Tannic

Cacao and medium fruit. Almost tannic quality, in line with the cab sauv comparison.

Lulo Bear

This is by far one of the best coffees I have had the opportunity to try. Smooth and easy to drink with a ton of flavor and body. You can taste the fruit, and has a Wine like after taste. The fermentation creates a well balanced experience that separates it from other companies doing similar processes.

Great French press light roast

Used the suggestions above and really enjoy it (french press). Light, refreshing, mild to moderate sweetness that compliments the 80/90 degree weather. Definitely trends more fruit forward than oaky or cacao.
