Another modcup offering from the world famous coffee growing group Cafe La Granja who own and operate five farms in Colombia. This is our second year working with them. Known across the coffee world for their innovative processing and rare varietal offerings, La Granjas coffees are part of brewers cup language these days.
Finca Potosi is the farm where the La Granja families journey in coffee began. Indeed brothers Rigoberto and Luis who own, operate and manage their families legacy were born there. Finca Potosi is a very special place to the Herrera family. Even more special when you factor in it survived a fire 10 years ago that nearly wiped it out.
Perched in the Valle del Cauca its sweeping hillside altitude provides fertile soils for the growing of native Colombian varietals as well as exotic rare varietals.
This particular coffee is about as classic a Colombian coffee as you can get. Floral in aroma, sweet milk chocolate tones and with a little tangerine citric quality, this is a cup all about balance. The kind of coffee you can chug on all day.
