Our second year working with the Honduran Coffee Alliance and our second time buying from the farm of Finca El Rayo in La Paz owned and operated by Selman Dagoberto, a third generation coffee farmer. A university graduate in agricultural engineering and a certified Q grader, Selman has become one of the local experts in coffee production. As well as owning and running his own farm he also works as a contractor for the inter-American institute for cooperation on agriculture to train producers in techniques to have more productive and disease resistant coffee.
