Cherry Bomb is a bold, fruit-driven expression of modern coffee, bringing together rich cherry sweetness, warming cinnamon, and the bittersweet depth of cocoa nibs. It's playful, layered, and full of character โ€” a coffee that leans into big flavors without losing its balance.

The cup opens with a burst of ripe cherry, followed by a warming cinnamon character that adds sweetness and complexity. As the coffee cools, deeper cocoa nib notes emerge, creating a rich, lingering finish that feels somewhere between dark chocolate and a cherry-filled dessert.

The Story Behind Cherry Bomb

Cherry Bomb is what happens when we take some of our most expressive Colombian coffees and build a blend around one unmistakable flavor: cherry.

The foundation is a clean washed Huila, providing structure and balance. Cafรฉ Granja La Esperanza's Natural XO adds layers of dark fruit sweetness, while a cinnamon-forward Caturra introduces warmth and aromatic spice.

The final component is a Cherry Cola Mossto Co-Ferment from Campo Hermoso, an experimental coffee that brings an intensely expressive cherry character to the blend.

Rather than allowing any single component to dominate, we've balanced these coffees to create a cup that's vibrant, sweet, and surprisingly approachable.

Cherry Bomb represents the fun, expressive side of what we've been doing at ModCup for over a decade โ€” showing people that coffee can taste wildly different depending on where it comes from, how it's processed, and how it's brought together.
