ORIGIN: Dimbria, Keffa
VARIETAL: Landrace Heirloom
Dimbria is in Western Ethiopia in Keffa. Its on the opposite side of the same hill as the famed Wush Wush village, straddling the district boarder between Chena and Ginbo.
This coffee was sourced for us by Ethiopian sourcing specialists Catalyst and its our first time working with them. Of all the samples we received from them this year there were many standouts but it was lot 120 from Dimbria that we all ultimately fell for.
Beautifully balanced florals and stone fruit juiciness this combine the best of both worlds that Ethiopian coffees are known for.
We tasted apricots, ginger marmalade, pink lemonade, rooibos, honey crisp apple, Jasmine and honeysuckle. This really is for us the perfect Ethiopian coffee.
